Who We Are
Karisimbi Valley Academy was founded with a bold dream: to create a school in the heart of Musanze, Northern Province that would rival the majesty of Mount Karisimbi itself — a place where every child, regardless of background, could reach their fullest potential.
Over the years, we have grown into a thriving community of learners, educators, and families united by three core values: Love, Unity, and Equality. Walk through our school gate and you immediately see these values painted on our walls, performed in our music, and lived by our students every day.

Principal UWIMANA Olive leads KVA with over 15 years of experience in primary education across Rwanda. Her philosophy centers on the belief that every child carries within them the seeds of greatness — the role of educators is to water those seeds with love, discipline, and joy.

KVA follows the Rwanda Basic Education Curriculum framework, enriched with our own programs in arts, digital literacy, and character development. We believe learning should be joyful, purposeful, and relevant.
